Dr. Qutaibah Khatib Hair Restoration Surgeon
 

Dr. Khatib’s medical career began with acceptance into a highly competitive BS/MD program directly out of high school, culminating in his graduation from Northeast Ohio Medical University in 2012. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Akron City Hospital in 2015. Drawn to meticulous, hands-on care, he spent the next decade specializing in wound care—refining his expertise in delicate tissue repair and training fellow practitioners in the process. 

In 2021, his professional focus shifted to surgical hair restoration. He completed an intensive FUE training program before being accepted into one of the few ISHRS-sponsored advanced fellowships, expanding his skillset to include FUT, long-hair FUE, lateral slit technique, beard and body hair harvesting, eyebrow and facial hair transplantation, and scar implantation. In 2025, driven by his passion for hair restoration and commitment to clinical excellence, Dr. Khatib joined the Chicago Hair Institute. There, he further refined his methods under the mentorship of the world-renowned Dr. Raymond Konior, continuing to provide highly personalized, detail-oriented care to every patient. 

Dr. Khatib has lived across the United States and abroad before settling in Ohio, where he completed his medical training. He now calls Chicago home and has proudly served the Chicagoland area since 2015.
